5-Performance Weekend Series

Live out-of-town or just want to see two operas in one weekend? The new Dallas Opera 5-performance Weekend Series is right for you. The Weekend Series gives you the option to attend two productions on either a back-to-back Friday and Saturday evening OR a Saturday evening and Sunday matinee performance.

• Subscriptions save you up to 20%. It is like paying for four operas and getting to see the fifth one FREE. Subscription tickets save you up to 20% off the price of single tickets.


• 3-Month Payment Plan. Purchase before July 31, 2009 and your TDO Subscription can be broken into three monthly payments at no additional charge. Buy now and take three months to pay!


• Exclusive Subscriber Pre-sale. Have a friend you want to bring to the opera? Subscribers will have the opportunity to purchase additional single tickets to the upcoming season before they go on sale to the public. And, because you are a Subscriber, you save 10% on any additional tickets you purchase.


• Receive a MOBY-DICK Commemorative Print. To celebrate the World Premiere of Jake Heggie’s MOBY-DICK, every subscriber to The Dallas Opera will receive a commemorative print.


• Invitations to exclusive Subscriber-Only Events. Each season, The Dallas Opera hosts several exclusive subscriber events. These can be anything from a private recital with one of the principal artists to a tour of TDO’s rehearsal facility. You might even get a personal invitation to a dress rehearsal. But you must be a subscriber!


• Ticket Exchange Privileges. Have to travel and can’t make your scheduled performance? No problem! Dallas Opera Subscribers can exchange their tickets for any performance of the same opera*. So, if you can’t make your performance of MADAME BUTTERFLY, you can exchange your ticket for any other performance of MADAME BUTTERFLY. Remember, there are now six performances of each opera, which gives you more options. *There is one exception – Subscribers will not be allowed to exchange into the Friday, 10/23/2009 performance of OTELLO. Subscribers will have the first opportunity to purchase extra tickets to the opening night in the Exclusive Subscriber Presale.
