The upcoming opera season provides the perfect backdrop for a culinary tour. Each opera is set in a great food and wine location and The Dallas Opera is taking advantage of it. We have partnered with our favorite restaurants to create unique tasting opportunities and with Milestone Culinary Arts Center to create a cooking class series that will last all summer. Cooking Class Series Milestone Culinary Arts Center is turning up the heat with a sizzling array of hands-on summer classes and menus designed to complement our “Lovers & Scoundrels” Season. Learn how to prepare and present dishes from Austria to Algiers and, because it’s The Dallas Opera, you can expect it to be a little sweet, a little spicy, and always very tasteful! Don’t cook, no problem. You can just come for the tasting at the end of the class! Each cooking class is $50 per person and offers an hour and a half of hands-on instruction. Tastings are $25 per person and are paired with an informal discussion of the opera. Interested in the entire series? Save 10% if you buy all five classes.
