TDO has events throughout the year, both in and out of opera season, designed to spark your interest in opera and give you an opportunity to mix and mingle with other opera lovers (and those who don’t know they are opera lovers!)
Social@theOpera events mix food and fun with a bit of opera knowledge. Each event is planned around themes or the context of an upcoming TDO opera. There are food and wine tastings, dance lessons, movie screenings, language lessons, unconventional lectures AND much more. Whether you’re a seasoned opera patron or completely new to opera, TDO Social@theOpera events have something for you.
Baritones & Beachballs
TDO’s Summer Events run between June and August each year. These cool events help you take your mind off the blazing Texas heat with movie screenings, an interactive discussion series, a tasting series and much more! All Baritone & Beachballs events are FREE or low-cost.
