Education Internship
We are currently interviewing for the position of Opera Education Intern. The Opera Education Intern will facilitate TDOinaSuitcase™ sessions at an after-school site at least once to twice a week on a rotating basis depending on demand and availability. Potential interns must attend trainings with the Education Program Manager. Interested candidates must have an interest in music education, have reliable transportation and have a flexible schedule. College undergraduates majoring in voice and/or music education is preferred.

General/Seasonal Openings
Administration
A career in opera goes beyond the stage, and runs the gamut from Fund Raising and Marketing to Information Technology and Production. Orchestra
Orchestra auditions are held when a vacancy occurs. When an audition is scheduled it will be announced in the AFM publication the International Musician and the Dallas Fort Worth Professional Musicians Association newsletter. Specific audition information, when scheduled, will appear below. For general information about the Dallas Opera Orchestra, please contact OrchestraAuditions@dallasopera.org.
Chorus
Auditions for available "core" or "auxiliary" positions are held annually after the conclusion of our performance season - usually in late May or Early June. Classically trained singers should inquire by e-mail to ChorusAuditions@dallasopera.org. Applicants should prepare at least two operatic selections in contrasting styles and languages and may be asked to sight read. A professional pianist will play for your audition.
Seasonal Artists
Some productions may require individuals with special talents to perform in the following capacities:

Solo Artists
